Fabric Canvas Art

Amber and I tried this while they were visiting.  It as so much fun and I am thrilled that I like it enough to hang it on my wall.  I found the idea from annamariehorner.

We used dark purple paint, but it looks black in the pictures.

Here is the final product on the wall, then the following pictures are in order 

of how we created our masterpiece.  It was really easy.

1.  blank canvas

2. cut the fabric to wrap around the canvas

3.  staple the 4 sides  to the canvas and fold the corners. Sam was our "corner folder" because amber and I had difficulty figuring out exactly how to do it.

4.  This is how it should look, then apply modge podge over the fabric and let dry

5.  This is mike creating our bike stencil
6.  He is more detailed and creative at this part than I am
7. Arrange the stencil on the fabric and paint carefully.  This part is different than annamaria  horner's. she did a reverse stencil.
